I’ve always wanted to write a blog, but wonder what I should write it on. After planning for a few years, getting married, then planning some more I decided that the best place would be to start at the beginning.
Not hiring vendors, not selecting venues, not picking your wedding party …. oh no, the beginning. The moment when the world stops and all you hear are those words, “Will you Marry Me?”
Did you cry? Did you laugh? Did you say, “About damn time?!?”
The beginning is time for reflection and to enjoy this blissful bubble of happiness that’s just yours to share. No one knows the feelings your feeling because they’re yours.
Once you set a date, make those calls, set appointments then that clock starts ticking. Enjoy this time, celebrate your love with each other, family, and friends.
It’s important to remember the way you celebrate your love is a reflection of your love for each other. Pinterest is wonderful, I love Pinterest. It’s a great place to go once you have ideas, but not the place to go to find ideas. This we’ll revisit later :)
Right now celebrate, post those pictures, hold each other as much as possible, and talk about what makes both of you happy when it comes to the idea of a wedding [if that’s what you want].
Always taking suggestions and answering questions! Congratulations!
Here’s to Your Memories,
